Dear Friends, as we find ourselves just weeks away from summer's imminent arrival, I have found myself looking back at the winter entries I've been sharing with you through hernature.org. It's been a gift to revisit those weekly glimpses into the season's quieter teachings.
Now, something lovely has happened: those winter reflections have found their way into a small book!
“In Her Nature: Winter” gathers all of those early journal entries you might not have seen. It feels fitting that as we prepare to welcome summer's full intensity, winter's complete story is now available to hold in your hands.
These pages capture everything from New Year's dawn on a mountaintop to an unexpected golden eagle visitor on my chimney pot. All those subtle miracles that revealed themselves when I started to pay closer attention to the wild world around us. If you've found meaning in the seasonal observations I've been sharing, you might enjoy having winter's full arc of reflections gathered in one place.
The book stands on its own, though it's the first in what will become a year-long journey through the seasons. I'm already deep into documenting spring's unfolding (yes, there will be a spring book coming soon too!).
No pressure at all, I simply wanted you to know it exists, born from the same quiet attention to the natural world that we explore together. It’s available in print and on Kindle at Amazon.
Thank you for walking alongside these seasonal discoveries with me.
In gratitude for all the wild wisdom, and with love,
Jane
Thank you Jane!!
I was going to suggest this! It’s so worthy of print!
